The CTET September 2026 Paper II Syllabus is for candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage). Paper II consists of 150 MCQs carrying 150 marks, with a total duration of 2½ hours.

For candidates choosing Mathematics & Science, the subject-specific section carries 60 questions for 60 marks. It is divided into:

The compulsory 30-question section covers child development, inclusive education, children with special needs, learning and pedagogy, intelligence, learning processes, motivation, cognition and emotions, etc.
